ESS 2025, powered by Samsung, set new standards for esports in the region, where, for two action-packed days, it delivered non-stop excitement, explosive face-offs, and immersive gaming experiences.
Continuing its digital expansion in 2021, due to global events still being affected by the COVID pandemic, ESS 2021 featured more than 10,000 players competing in 37 tournaments across 17 games, over the course of a month.
When the COVID-19 pandemic put the entire world on hold, Esports Summit adapted instead of pausing. The 2020 edition moved fully online under the slogan “From Home to the Summit,” transforming the event into a large-scale digital esports festival.
ESS 2019 was one of the region’s most anticipated esports events. The three-day event attracted more than 8,000 attendees, and featured the biggest on-ground battle royale tournament featuring 100 PCs.
The first edition of ESS marked a defining moment for the regional esports scene. In 2018, what started as a vision to bring gamers together turned into the first large-scale professional esports event, welcoming more than 5,000 attendees.
